All sessions will take place at a location of your choice within the Springfield, Mo area. Sessions are available for locations outside of the area. Please contact me for more information and out of area rates.
What to Expect
Expect to have fun! I'm very laid back and I want you to enjoy the session. I want your child(ren) to be themselves. I want them to play and have a good time. If that means playing in a mud puddle then so be it. I am there to capture their personality. Therefore you will not see me placing your child into a stiff pose. I also will not force them to smile and I ask that you not ask them to smile either. I aim for natural expressions.
When you first show up for your session we will spend a little time getting to know each other. I will also get down on your child's level and speak with them. I may crack a joke or two to lighten the mood a bit. I will encourage your child to play. I want them to feel comfortable and to enjoy themselves.
Water sessions
These are very popular with my clients, especially the children. Usually at the end of the session your child and I will head out into a fountain or other water source for some fun. No need for a bathing suit here. We jump in fully clothed. Children LOVE this and it usually results in the best images from the session. Please bring a full change of clothes and a towel with you to your session so your child can change afterward because we will get SOAKED! Water sessions are done weather permitting.
Booking your session
The first step to booking your session is to contact me via email at byerleyphotography@yahoo.com so we can discuss your session. Once we have chosen a date and time for your session you will need to submit the retainer. Retainers can be sent by personal check, money order or credit card.
Cancellations
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact me at least 48 hours before the session so that the retainer can be applied to another session. There is a waiting list for many appointments so if you are unable to have your childs session please call so someone else can have that spot. If you do not call to reschedule or if you do not show up to the session you will forfeit your retainer. You may call to book another session and leave a new retainer to secure the new session.
Sick Children
Please do not bring your child to the session if he/she is sick. You will not get the kind of images you want and your poor child will be miserable. If your child becomes sick the night before or the morning of your session please contact me to reschedule and I will apply your retainer to another session. If you bring your child to the session and they are too sick to have an enjoyable experience, I reserve the right to cancel the session on the spot and you will forfeit the retainer.
Viewing your proofs.
Your proofs will be available for viewing within 14 days. Orders are placed within your online gallery. I accept cash, checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Full payment is required when placing your order. Proofs will remain in your gallery for 5 days. All orders need to be placed within the gallery time. If the gallery expires there will be a $50 fee to have it republished for 3 more days.
